Urispas is an anticholinergic agent used to treat bladder or bowel spasms and in combination with other medicines to treat ulcers.
Take Urispas tablets by mouth. Swallow the tablets with a drink of water. You may take Urispas with food if it upsets yout stomach. Take your medicine at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Contact your health care professional regarding the use of this medicine in children. Special care may be needed. If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
Urispas is contraindicated in patients who have any of the following obstructive conditions: pyloric or duodenal obstruction, obstructive intestinal lesions or ileus, achalasia, gastrointestinal hemorrhage and obstructive uropathies of the lower urinary tract. Urispas should be given cautiously in patients with suspected glaucoma. Patients should be informed that if drowsiness and blurred vision occur, they should not operate a motor vehicle or machinery or participate in activities where alertness is required.

* blurred vision and other eye problems such as eye pain
* fever
* dizziness, drowsiness
* irregular heartbeat (palpitations)
* nervousness, confusion
* skin rash or hives
* unusual weakness or tiredness
* vomiting
