Petcam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This medicine is used for control of osteoarthritis-associated pain in dogs. Petcam can be used on a long-term and continuous basis. Recommendations Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your veterinarian. Use Petcam Oral Suspension exactly as directed. The dosage is easily adjusted according to the dog's weight. The medicine is usually administered as a single dose of 0.2 mg/kg body weight on the first day of treatment. Thereafter it is administered once daily as 0.1 mg/kg. The oral suspension can be either mixed with food or placed directly into the dog's mouth. Precautions It is not recommended to use Petcam in pregnant and lactating dogs or in dogs younger than 6 months of age. Stop administering Petcam and speak to your vet if you notice any of the following side effects. * Vomiting * Decrease in appetite * Changes to your dog's behavior * Diarrhea * Stools may be bloody * Lethargy
