Otibact Ear Drops is a medicated ear drop for dogs which is used to help treat bacterial ear infections and otitis externa. It has antibiotic properties, and provides broad-spectrum bactericidal activity to the infection.
Signs of an ear infection may include scratching the ear, abnormal shaking of the head, skin sensitivity, visible discharge, build up of wax, swelling, or pungent odors from the ears. Otibact is suitable for use by adult dogs, and puppies of at least 24 weeks old.
Dosage and Administration:
Always discuss with your vet how best to administer Otibact, how much to use, and how often to use it. A general guideline is 5 to 10 drops for dogs under 35lbs in weight, given twice daily, for a period of 14 days. For dogs over 35lbs, 10 to 15 drops may be suitable.
Side Effects:
This medication is generally well tolerated. Adverse effects which have been reported include:

If you notice any adverse effects, immediately inform your vet.
Precautions:
Prior to using Otibact ear drops discuss with your any allergies or other medical conditions which your dog may have. Also ensure the vet is aware of any other medication being given to the dog, and if the dog is pregnant, providing milk for puppies, or is used for breeding. Otibact is not suitable for puppies under the age of 24 weeks as it may cause joint or cartilage deformities in puppies under this age.
