Heartz is typically used as treatment against heart worm for dogs, it can also help manage hook worm and ascarids (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), speak to your vet for a full list of possible treatments. Heartz releases neurotransmitters that paralyze the parasite's peripheral nervous system, destroying them and preventing the parasites from spreading further. Before using Heartz, you must ensure your dog has tested positive for heart worm.
Dosage and Administration:
Administer according to your vet's directions or following the instructions supplied within the packaging. A normal dosage may be 1 tablet per month for dogs that are older than 6 weeks. The tablet should be taken whole, not chewed, crushed, or divided up. Talk to your vet for tips regarding how to administer the medicine to your dog.
