Asthalin is mainly used to cure from Asthma. Asthalin is inhaler product manufactured from Cipla. Asthalin is indicated for use in the routine management of chronic bronchospasm unresponsive to conventional therapy, and in the treatment of acute severe asthma.
Asthalin should not be used more frequently than recommended. Do not increase the dose or frequency of Asthalin without consulting your physician. If you find that treatment with Asthalin becomes less effective for symptomatic relief, your symptoms become worse, and/or you need to use the product more frequently than usual, you should seek medical attention immediately. While you are using Asthalin, other inhaled drugs and asthma medications should be taken only as directed by your physician.
Dosage and Administration:
Take this medication by mouth, usually twice a day (12 hours apart) or as directed by your doctor. Swallow this medication whole. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Doing so can destroy the long action of the drug and may increase side effects. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy.
Adults and children older than 12 should not take more than 32 milligrams per day.
Children aged 6-12 should not take more than 24 milligrams per day.
Warning/Precautions:
Take this medication exactly as prescribed. Do not take more of this medication or take it more often than recommended by your doctor. Use this medication regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. Remember to use it at the same times each day. If you take other asthma drugs by mouth or inhaling devices, ask your doctor about how to correctly take this medication with your other asthma medicines. If you notice less effect than usual from this medication, if your symptoms get worse, or you feel you need to take any of your asthma medications more often than recommended, seek immediate medical attention.
